Default Daily spending log ~ sharing ideas

Would any one be interested in starting a daily spending thread? I think its really interesting and inspiring to see it in the grocery threads.  I got the idea from the no spend thread kind of. I've been tracking my spending all on paper to see the no spend days.

I think it might be really beneficial to see how other frugalites spend or don't spend. We could very likely learn some new things!!!!

Oh, gosh. I'm so upset with myself! We went out yesterday to pick up a free mattress from freecycle, and here's what we ended up with:

$40 at Texas Roadhouse for dinner (5 people)

$114 on games at the gamestore. I only got those because dh complains he never gets anything and he's the one making all the money, so I figured he deserved it.

I work third shift , and this morning on my way home from work I stopped at the store and bought a can of whipped cream for 2.99 (I know, not very frugal) but the kids love it on jello (which is frugal - I bought jello awhile ago at 5 for 1.00 and had a .30 coupon) and I bought 2 bags of chips (1.00 each - reg. 1.50 each) I also let the kids each have hotlunch today at school instead of bringing bag lunches (2.00 each)
    2.99 (whipped cream)
    2.00 (chips)
    4.00 (hotlunch)

    8.99 total

I need to add on her! for 1/25
Ds needed pennies for a pennie war~the classes all collect pennies in a jar in their home room. All bills or silver coins go in the competing classes jar. The total of any bills or silver coins in the classes jars (from other class) is deducted from the classes total number of pennies. So if a competing class puts alot of silver or coins in their competitions jar a class can actually go in the negative!!!!
Any way.................. I gave Dh all my pennies (maybe 3.00) plus the only cash I had ($2).
The class that wins the penny war gets icecream and all proceddes go to the tsunami victims.
