Miracle Whip

Matthew and I buy alot of store brand foods, but there are certain things the both of us are very picky about.........one of them being Miracle Whip, but this last time I went grocery shopping I bought Krogers version, and it does taste just like the real thing...........

What things are you picky on and what have you found to be just as good once you tried it?

Not me, but DH always insisted on using Denorex, he said it was the only thing that worked for him. He uses it everyday as his normal shampoo and at almost $8 a bottle, it's expensive. I bought him the Wal-Mart brand Head & Shoulders with the cooling sensation.. he loves it! He swears up and down he's tried head and shoulders and it doesn't work, so he is now a stickler on the generic shampoo. and it's only like $3 a bottle for the super duper size! Lasts about 4 times longer at less than half the price!

OH, and for me, I HAVE to have A-1 sauce. I've tried generics, but most have failed the test. ONE brand was very comparable and that was the Winn-Dixie brand, but all the winn-dixie's have closed in my area.

Prego sauce for me too as well as mayonnaise. I used to buy Kraft but one time the store brand was on sale so I bought it & there was no difference in taste.

My DH likes the Miracle Whip and he would have a cow if I purchased anything but Miracle Whip. I could save a Miracle Whip jar and transfer the knockoff into the Miracle Whip jar and he'd never know the difference. The problem is we don't have a Krogers in our town.

I will use only Heinz ketchup. I have tried the store brands and they went to the pig.
Its not that expensive at Walmart and my kids use lots of ketchup....
