New Start!
February 1st will be a new beginning in frugality for me. Over the past 4-6 months, I have slowly drifted away from my frugal self...Not in the spending department. I've maintained my bargain and cut to the bone spending. What I haven't kept up with are all the little daily things that keep my utilities in line.
I did really well last water cycle...but this one...We don't wanna talk about.
As for shutting off lights, apliances, etc....uuuum....who me?
So, I am going to sit down with my sorely neglected frugal notebook and make a list of my savings routines. I will follow them resolutely beginning Feb. 1st and come March I will reap the rewards once more!

I've been falling down on the frugal side of things lately too Graci. I think it has something to do with the frigid temperatures and lack of sun we have been enduring.
Hopefully February will be better for all of us.

I have been buying little pick me ups to cheer up my mood lately. I agree it has something to do withthe lack of sun. So I get in funks, and i buy myslef balls of yarn, yards of fabric and so on to keep myself busy, and of course gotta get things to keep the kids from driving me mad too! so I have fallen off the frugal wagon too. I have to get in gear again and work at being more wise with our saving and spending habits.

But we know how fast a small leak can sink the boat...suddenly "just a little water" turns into "OLD FAITHFUL" . By then it's too late.
Thanks, Shell...I won't forget to pat my back...giggle
