    Default cheap hair care

to deeply condition my hair and tame those frizzies, i use olive oil. i can purchase an 8.45oz bottle of pure olive oil for $1 at dollar tree. after washing my hair,i put about a quarter sized puddle of olive oil in the palm of my hand and concentrating mostly on the ends of my hair, i work my way up to the middle of the length of my hair. unbelievably when you do this when the hair is wet, it doesn't turn out greasy, and its much easier to comb out the tangles. olive oil is also very good as a skin moisturizer. if you feel it might be too oily for your skin, then after a few minutes, just blot it off with a towel(it washes out)

Great tip. I've also heard that if you use olive oil after sun exposure it cuts down on the incidence of skin cancers.

I've used olive oil for my hair and for my skin a while back and found it did work wonders. I was surprized that it didn't leave it feeling greasy. My hair and skin tend to be dry and sometimes I just olive oil them both and go sit for a while and let it soak in before washing or toweling it off.

I had forgotten to add that you might want to use a little less than a quarter sized puddle if your hair is short...i use this amount because my hair is where i can nearly sit on it.
