    Default The Dollar Jar ?

Could someone please explain this to me?
    Not sure I understand.
Please be patient with me, I'm new at really trying to conserve.

Were always patient with our members. We love when they ask questions.

Holly - we have a couple of challenges. The dollar or change jar is where you put all your change. So if you go out and buy something and have some change left over, you put it in there. You can use that change for whatever you want.

The penny jar is for all your pennies. At the end of the year were going to see how many pennies we have saved.

    Hope that helps.

Good I thought you meant to save all dollar bills and that wouldn't work around here.
No bills would get paid and we'd be in a mess.
    Thank You

Holli, here in Canada all of our $1 and $2 are coins!!

I'm still debating whether or not I will include them in my "change" jar

I'm doing the dollar bill jar. We are lucky to be living way below are means so it is possible to put away dollar bills in jars. We gave up our second car so no more fuel, insurance and maintence for that really saves us a lot! But I can totally understand how saving $$ could be difficult. Two years ago we would never have been able too.
