It's difficult to imagine any amount of material possessions making up for- or being enjoyed in-- ill health.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2.

We've seen this in our own family. We did fine financially, until dh got sick. Suddenly his ability to work and make money was gone- as well as his mindset of health .

My parents also suffered when my dad had a brainstem stroke. His ability to generate income ceased, and their finances spiraled into gloom.
