I opened my Christmas club earlier this year. My goal is to have $500 by the time Christmas rolls around. Good idea, btw!

What a wonderful idea. We don't spend much on Christmas, under $100 but it would be nice to have that in our savings come Christmas season.

I'll post my amounts at the end of the month.

I bought stock in my company at work and will be using the money I make from that for my Xmas shopping. It works really well -- the money is taken right off my check, and when I want to sell my stocks, I sell them and just take the $$.

    Bright Blessings!

I put $10.00 a week into my Christmas fund. I have been doing this for years. I have 3 children to buy for as well as DH, parents, and mother-in-law. We also do Secret Santa for a child that would not have any Christmas. I also use some of this money to make food baskets to give to the elderly throughout the community.

I don't really do very much for Christmas but I think I'll try to save a little bit. There's always an increase in invitations out (and visitors coming round), DH is always being asked out (!) on work lunches and stuff and we didn't have the cash last year.

Maybe I'll just try to save £100 over the year but it's better than nothing .

I would say totally but my method of saving money for xmas is to buy early when things are on sale. I already bought our dd her xmas gift.
