    Default Multi use Wash cloths!

Washcloths ( know as face cloths or face flannels here in UK) are so versatile and I use mine for all sorts:

single or (double use hand towel -dry hands once or twice and toss in the wash.

You can wash more of them & they dry quicker than hand or regular sized towels- great for the kids, just the dirt on one small washcloth rather than a full size towel!

I use face cream to "wash my face" ( more on that later..) I use the cloth and it has a gentle exfoliating effect, gets my skin much cleaner than just fingers

I am currently experimenting with using them instead of kitchen paper..........

When they eventually get a bit scraggy and or stained I start to use them in the washing machine as a "Dye magnet" ( do they still make them? - I loved those! but they were a bit pricey.)

They work just great and when they get to the stage where they are a bit dark and discoloured I then put them in a box to be used as "Disposable rags" for really mucky jobs!

I use white ones, but if you want to use them as mini towels any colour will do and you could even get a few for each child ( giving them their own colour choice).

if you look around at target and other places, you can usually get a 10 or 12 pack of white washcloths for $5-$10. in the past i got 2 packs of 10 for $5.00 because they were on clearance just because packaging was changing.

when they get to the point that they getting a little thread bare or rough around the edges, you can use them as a dryer sheet. mix 1 part liquid fabric softener with 2 parts water in a spray bottle. squirt the washcloth with the mixture a few times and toss in the dryer.

you need to set aside one or two particular washcloths for this as after a few times of using them as a dryer sheet, they will no longer absorb water. the fabric softener coats the fibers of the cotton preventing it from absorbing water.
