Really sorry to hear that! If they did that around here I would be sick to my stomach !!!!!!!!!!! Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking and what is their justicification (sp) for the increase? Seems they always have a reason.

I live in Manitoba, Canada. Their justification is that prices keep going up in the oil world.

Nope I'm not buying that. They have offices downtown Winnipeg (I don't live in Winnipeg now) but they are scattered. They are building a new office right downtown, huge amount of dollars so they can all be in the same building. Our natural gas and electricity are all the same company. Both have gone up considerably since the announcement of the new building.

Thats what I attribute it to!!!

I think that everything is going up everywhere. We live in Tx. and last month our electric soared. i was very careful not to use as much as the last month..even paid a closer eye on the kiddos use..and doggonit if the bill was 11.oo more than the previous month...they increased the cents per kilowatt hr. our bill was 99.00....i dread turning on that a/c when the humidity becomes unbearable....get this..the jerks are petitioning austin to allow them to raise their rates even higher so that every household will be paying an extra 12.00 a month...and as usual..the bozos will get their way..i hate this place. I know of families that have only 1 or 2 kids and their electric bills are higher than ours...how do people survive????
