Had to dip in my EF again!
Well last month I had to dig into my EF for a root canal. $800. Now I had to dig into my EF again! Car decided to act up on me. Ended up costing me $629. Oh Joy! Goal is to have the EF built up to a $1000 in about a month in a half. The only thing I can say is thank goodness I had my EF. Hopefully nothing unexpected doesn't come up again!

Rebecca I wish you the best building your EF back up. I'm sorry that you had to take from it, but at least it was for an emergency! I'm glad you had it.

Rebecca, I know how nice it is to look at a large balance in your EF but it's not there to just sit and look at, it's to use, and you've used it for exactly what it was there for so truthfully I'm smiling for you cuz you had it there to use! Kudos for saving up what you did and good luck on saving for the next emergency.

Good for you for having it to use. I can remember the time when I had no choice but to charge it on a card and pay exhorbant amounts of interest on it. Whatever "it" was in case of an emergency.
