I just started doing this myself. I have one son...2 1/2 years old...and he can easily drink a gallon of milk every 2 days - by himself. YIKES! I started doing 1/2 and 1/2, and I don't think he can tell. At least he's not complaining!

It really is saving a lot of $ on milk, plus it's helping me rotate the powdered milk in my food storage.

We buy bottled drinking water, because the city water here has been determined to be among the worst in the nation (for health). I don't think we would realize alot of savings when the price of the water was factored in.

    That's great Tammy!

That's a great way to save. I use it for cooking. I haven't been brave enough to add it to the drinking milk yet.

I'm the only one who drinks milk in the house so I haven't mixed powdered milk in, but I too use it for baking and for cream soups.

My Mom used to add powdered milk to regular when we were kids. I seemed to like it alright.

I use it for baking, puddings and the like but have not been able to add it to milk as yet. I might just have to try it myself!!! Good way to use it up!
