    Default I have saved a ton of $$$$

    By buying powdered milk and mixing in some with the regular milk! Steve knows,but no one can tell a difference!!!

    I've tasted it but being lactose intollerant,I dont drink milk.To me it taste like milk thats had cheerios in it ..kinda sweet lol

    Powdered milk in the stores here is very expensive.
    I have some given to me every once in awhile that I use for baking and for the kittens to drink

    That's great! I have a hard enough time drinking 1% milk, I don't even want to try powdered! Good for you!

    That's a great way to save. I use it for cooking. I haven't been brave enough to add it to the drinking milk yet.

    I have had powered milk before and it doesn't taste to bad epecially if you let it get cold in the fridge

    WTG!

    I do this every once in a while. We don't go through enough milk to make the effort worth my while lol. We barely go through 4 gallons a month between the 6 of us.
    I do use dry milk for cooking & making milk based soups, etc. I get a big can of dry milk powder for just under $5 and it makes just over 5 gallons. Can't beat that!!
