Anyone Shopping Memorial Day Sales Today?
We are. Julia needs a new pair of sneakers and church shoes. Every Sunday, poor kid tells us that her feet hurt. And although she loves her sneakers, I think that any day now, we'll be seeing her little toes poke through.
We're also going to LOOK at electronics stuff. I was paid $100 for the DC trip, and am thinking of buying myself an MP3 player. Recently I've been walking like a fiend and I would really enjoy listening to music while I do so. It might inspire me to go further, because I won't get bored. So, if there's a good deal on a good player (Rob was researching them on Consumer Reports dot com for me last night) then I might buy it. I'm excited! I don't remember the last time I bought something fun for myself! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Nope...I'm not opposed to it but we don't have any stores here to shop at (well that's not true we have one that is having the ACE memorial day sale....I *might* pop in there for the FAR items). I plan on being home for most of the day.

No shopping for me. I did hit the thrift store on Saturday though.

An mp3 player sounds like a great thing to have while walking.
I should be walking too. I keep hoping to find a walking buddy, but ought to just stop making excuses and get walking. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. No shopping for me either. I plan on decluttering a little instead.
I hope you find a nice MP3 player for your walks.~*Michelle*~

Found a good, cheap one. Already downloaded songs. Have been dancing around the house ever since. LOVE IT!

Yes. I went on a "shopping for me" spree with a GC I got for my birthday. Spent $102.67 in Filenes (ok, $100 was the giftcard). I got two tops, a dress, a bathing suit, and 8 pairs of socks (I needed the socks).
