    Is Zote soap the same as Fels Naptha?

    I don't know if it is identical (since neither are available in my area), but Zote can be used in place of Fels Naptha in homemade laundry detergent if that's what you're wondering. http://www.thefrugalshopper.com/articles/FAQs.shtml

    2 different soaps, but I think you can use either one in hm soap recipes.

    Just chiming in to agree. We had a long discussion about this on another board I am a member of. Zote is a Mexican laundry soap, so it should be fine in place of Fels Naptha.
