    Default freecycle rave

Okay I know I complained about what happened the other day with the many bags of boy's clothes and how I didn't get them but guess what I got yesterday.....

I got a Fisher Price toy - let's see if I can explain this.....It's the toy that you put the balls at the top and they spin down through the toy and pop out. It plays music and silly noises.

I got a beautiful bathroom set (trash can, soap and lotion dispenser, towels). The trash can alone cost over $20!!! An infant bathtub but I already have one for Jacob but I threw it away - it has some cracks in it. A a HUGE plastic tote of infant boy clothes!!!!!! I was so happy!

I get online this morning to see what is going on with freecycle and I'll be darned if right after I turned off my computer someone posted a brand new Avent Isis breast pump with all the things that go with it (bottles, etc). baby toys, etc. Oh well...it's gone now but I'll continue to keep my eyes open for more things like that.

Yay!!!!! I knew your luck would turn around. I am so hapy for you. I just gave that toy away to my friend. (It was actually not mine- belonged to my sis, and after it didn't sell in my yard sale, she said to give it to my friend.)

    You go, Daphne!

That's great. I wish there were a freecycle in my town. I'd join in a heartbeat but there isn't. Someone suggested I start one but I don't want to be the one in charge.

Someone just started one in our area in March. I just signed up last Friday and posted some votive candle holders leftover from my wedding. I had three people that wanted them! I gave them to the first person who emailed. She is also getting married and was looking for table candles. I'm just glad that someone else can get good use out of them and I have one less box in my closet.
