Default Very Happy with this weeks Grocery Shopping!

I did my weekly shop on Sunday. Lots of great sales with coupons. My original total was $88.96 After coupons, I paid $44.69 I got Malt-o-meal cereals for .84 a bag and Arrid deodorant for .37 each. For each Arrid I got, the Catalina machine spit out a ".75 off your next purchase" coupon, so I got four of those.

However, I've been going back all week for the best deals that I had coupons for. Each day I've gone back and gotten 4 more Malt-o-meals and 4 Lysol trigger spray cleaners. Total before sales and coupons? $18.03. Total after? $4.71

Great deals for me because the Lysol is used for cleaning which everyone has to do, and the Malt-o-meal is so much cheaper than name brand, and even cheaper than the store brand. My entire family likes the variety they have, so my pantry is stocked with cereal. When the rest of my trades come in this week, back I'll go!

I haven't been doing so well with couponing and stockpiling lately, so this is reminding me of how good it feels.

I, too, have been getting great deals on MOM cereals. I have bought several bags for .75 and .50. Put that with sale (1.69/gallon) milk and--WOOHOO!--cheap breakfast and snacks for DSs!!!
