    Default I need opinions

We are going on vacation at the end of August...almost 2 months away. We are going to my dad's in S.C. so we don't have to pay for room or food (yeah!!!). But gas, souveigners (sic), and entrance fees we'll cover. We are also staying overnight on the way down and 2 days in Richmond on the way back. We have figured out how much we need for the trip. So.....

over the next couple months I've worked our budget so that we'll have some extra money....should I put it in the EF (just in case I end up needing it for vacation) or should I just use it to pay off CC debt (we only have one card with a $450 balance)?

    opinions?

I'd pay down the cc because it's accruing interest. Sounds like a wonderful vacation!

I know that the goal is to pay off debt and stay out of debt, but if you pay off the cc, and while on vacation you have an emergency, you could use the cc you paid off.... Would this be bad.........or just an emergency plan? I am not sure what I am trying to say, I just hope I make sense and don't sound like I want debt, this would be my line of thinking though..
