I just tried coolsavings for the first time in years, and...
...yuck!
It is so incredibly wasteful. I'm not even sure where I can use the coupons yet, as most stores around here don't take internet coupons (Darlene, if you're reading, know of anywhere I can use these?) but there were some things I buy anyway, so I decided to print some coupons. Most of the printed up one per sheet of paper! What a waste. Luckily I have a toddler who will color on the back of the paper, but it just seems way too wasteful to use regularly.

I, too, find the CoolSavings site totally worthless. I delete the emails without reading them. My grocery store will take internet printed coupons, but I get better ones from Smartsource.com and IndyStar online.

Sorry Kim I don't know. I've had probs printing theirs in the past,& I don't like to jump thru hoops so I don't go there any more. Hope you can use them.

Darlene, I gave the oil co. info to DH- not sure if he has done anything with it yet. (Which probably means super-high prices again this year. Last year we actually moved our bed into the family room which is a separate heating system and kept the oil part of the house only warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing.) I will have to ask him when he gets home. (And totally OT, I am SO disappointed it rained tonight. I was really looking forward to the library concert tonight, and we are not walking to the fire house in the rain to catch it!)

Sara,
Thanks for the info on your coupon sites, I've heard of smartsource, but I've never heard of IndyStar.

Thought that it was just me with coolsavings. You know some times web sites generate new stuff according to what you use.I thought that since I live alone and don't use much I wasn't getting much. Most of the things they want me to sign up for,I already get their newsletters.Maybe I will discontinue them.
