Talking I'm getting an "umbrella" clothesline...FREE

The "How do you get the laundry soft?" thread really encouraged me to give line-drying a whirl. I thought about buying an umbrella-style line, but, instead, posted a WANTED to Freecycle. Well, guess what! I'm getting one. The only bad part is that it'll take 4 gallons of gas to get there and back, even combining it with another trip in that direction. But I'm so excited!! I just thought you'd all like to know.

    Woo hoo! Good for you!

I love my umbrella clothesline, and you will love yours too, in addition to saving money!

Way to go! I got mine recently as a birthday gift. I told DH that I wanted one and yes, I was serious and would not get mad at him if that was what he bought! LOL. I am finding it rather fun to use it since I work from home ( telecommute) and it gets me outside for a few minutes a couple times a day when I take a break. I put laundry in the wash at night and hung it out in the AM before starting work. It was very nice. Peaceful, sun shining, birds singing. Really a nice way to start the day. Hope you also enjoy yours!!

Good for you! My husband won't let me put a clothesline outside. Instead, I hang up clothes all over the basement.
