Absolutely nothing wrong with being prepared.. what does it hurt? I've seen people who make far more than we do in terrible financial shape because they spend and CC themselves into debt.
If a catastrophe happens, they would be in trouble..because those bills won't wait.
And truth be known, it happened to us a few years ago. hubby had just started a new job when he was in a terrible motorcycle accident and was laid up for 5 months. If not for our pastor, family, and friends we would have been sunk.
