Default My gosh, my dh is handy around the house!

My dh has never really been Mr. Fix it unless it comes to computers. We just purchased a new home with the knowledge that we'd be making some repairs and doing a lot of fix up of it ourselves. I started on the landscaping today, but here is my point. We were going to have someone come out and fix the plug in our sink, they couldn't come out fast enough, so dh got in there, found an old spoon, fork, and some other gadget clogging it up and a hole. He got the new part we needed and fixed it himself for less than 10.00, just to come out and look at it it was going to cost us $45.00. I am so proud of him!

Boy am I impressed! And to think someone was missing all those things at some point. Isn't it just AWESOME when they surprise us! See, it isn't just flowers girls want.

    That's great.

I have to admit, I'm kind of shallow....a big attraction in DH for me was his ability to fix things around the house.

Woo Hoo! Give the man a hand I'm thrilled for ya Tangee that he has realized he can be Mr. Fix it if he wants to be. That will save you gobs of loot.

Today we picked out our new tile for the kitchen floor, he'll be doing it himself. He amazes me.

Man that's wonderful! Having just had tile laid I can tell you that the labor is about 3 times the cost of the tile. Be sure to cook his fav. meal for this feat of excellence
