    Smile Hold me accountable...please?

    It's close to the end of the month, eight days left. I have 7/8 of a tank of gas in my van, I have plenty of food in my pantry. I even have plenty of yarn and some fabric! I also have $42 USD in my purse. I don't want to spend a DIME!! (That means no dipping into the change jar either!) I want to save this money and put it toward our kitchen remodel. I know I can do it, but it's so easy to slack off and make exceptions. I'll post daily - hopefully to say that I've spent nothing. Actually, I might not get a chance to post when I work this weekend, as I work 12-hr shifts (Fri, Sat, & Sun), but I'll post when I can.

    Thank you in advance for your encouragement &/or silent accountability.

    BTW, anyone want to join me? This can be a Challenge, if you like.

    Valerie, There is a daily spending thread that Rodmik just started this week!

    Daily spending thread - Aug 21 - 27

    Also when I feel like I want to spend money but really don't want to I go to the library and let myself take out as many books as I want. For some reason this feels like "shopping" to me. Good Luck!!
