Finding lower gas prices at unattended station

Yesterday I drove around quite a bit (I know, I know), and as the day went on, I saw that all the stations were raising their prices.

But there is an unattended station near us that stayed at the same price from 8 a.m. to at least 2 p.m. Presumably since there is no one sitting there on the property, it takes longer for them to get out and change the price signs.

So if gas prices are going up fast on a particular day, check any unattended facilities near you.

Wish we had some! Self-service is illegal in NJ.

We don't have any in NY, either-well, at least not around here. (And I rather like getting gas in NJ- it is nice not to have to put it in....)

Amy-check the parkway, they legally have to keep the same price until Thurs eve. I filled both cars near Rahway on the parkway for $2.59 Weds night, everything else was over $3
