    Default Good smells - cheap!

Some of you might already know this, but it works so well, I thought I'd share.

I used to buy a lot of the liquid simmering potpourrito use in the little pots, but some can be expensive and many don't deliver on their good smells promise! I started using common household spices that I buy at the discount grocery in some water. To make the whole house smell good, I use an old saucepan with a little cinnamon, cloves and water. Good stuff!

I have also used cinnamon and leftover coffee grounds, vanilla and orange peels and cloves and orange peels.

This is really inexpensive, lasts a long time and smells so good!

I cut up an apple, throw in cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and simmer. My DH always thinks there is an apple pie in the oven!
