Reusing freezer bags
When I make biscuits up ahead of time and stick them in freezer bags, I want to start washing out the freezer bag to reuse it..since it really doesn't get messed up.
What is the best way to dry it out after I have washed it?

I hang them on my line in the basement and when one side is dry I turn them inside out. If I can I can just place them in my drainer open and hanging upside down on the handle if a pan or something else thats pole like.

I have a wire vegetable rack hanging by my back door in the kitchen. I have a clothes pin on the side to hold the just washed freezer bags so they dry by the open door.

I don't wash them; I just reuse them. I write on the bag "bread" or "meat" (which means raw) or "cooked meat" or "cheese" and I just stick it back in the freezer (empty) until the next time I need it. I do wrap meats in one layer of plastic wrap before putting them in the freezer bags.
If I have cooked meat, such as taco-seasoned ground beef, I put it in small baggies (non-freezer) then put those baggies in the 'cooked meat' freezer bag.
If I have muffins or quickbread, I might or might not wrap them in plastic before sticking them in the 'bread' bag - depends on how soon I plan to use them. If it's more than a few days, they'll need to be wrapped so they don't get freezer burn.
For raw meat, I might have a bunch of chicken parts or pork chops. I wrap enough for a family meal in plastic wrap, then stick each of those packets in the 'meat' baggie.
The shredded cheese baggie just gets filled as is. Unless I have different varieties of shredded cheese in the freezer, then I use the small non-freezer baggies to separate them.
The key is never to put bread in a baggie which has held raw meat. But you knew that.
