    Default Frugal Treats

I think I saw a similar thread on this site recently but I couldn't find it today so I thought I would start a new thread. What are some of your favorite frugal treats? Mine are buying a sugar-free chocolate bar with almonds (I'm diabetic) from Godiva Chocolates $3.75, going to Victoria's Secret and buying 5 pair of underwear for $25, buying a chocolate dipped icecream cone from Dari Queen or a frozen yogurt sundae from an icecream shoppe. I also like to occasionally go to Cracker Barrel for a meal.

I am with you on the Godiva chocolate. They also make a WONDERFUL!!! hot choclate mix, just add a little butterscotch schnapps or baileys irish cream, its heaven on a cold night. (topped with whipped cream of course!)
Another favorite treat is to buy a good book.
Going to my favorite tea room with my Aunt.
Buying some of my favorite loose tea to take home for special times.

The only treat I do is fat quarters or quilting fabric. It isn't too frugal but oh the joy it brings me.

Going out to eat with my family. (Not frugal though)
My favorite frugal treat is spending the day in front of the fire reading a book, and letting everything else go.

On the chocolate note - Godiva ice cream! It's $3.79 a pint ($2.50 on sale) but I can't eat more than 3 or 4 spoonfulls at a time because its sooo rich - makes it last longer!

Other than that, I enjoy curling up with a good book, raiding my tea stash and having a good cup of tea, and doing a "spa day". I save samples of shampoos, conditioners, lotions, moisturizers, etc. and will just take a few hours and use a bunch of them. Puts me in a great mood!

Sitting at Starbucks with a frappacino and my knitting is far cheaper than going shopping - especially going shopping as an excuse to get out of the house (leaving the little ones with DH).
And spending $4 is the most I know I'll end up spending there.

Sometimes I'll roam the stacks of the library - can't do that with the kids.

While it sounds corny, my ultimate frugal treat is one I treat myself to fairly often, and that is having a long conversation with my best friend. He's a wonderful person and I love to chat with him, because I can tell him anything that pops into my disasterous little mind and he'll just laugh and accept it because he knows me so well.
