    Default Unplugging that second fridge

Well, today I went through and decluttered my upstairs fridge and freezer and tossed really old stuff from my downstairs one. This weekend, I'll have dh make a few decisions about some stuff that was in the downstairs one (toss or put upstairs) and then we're unplugging the second refrigerator we have that is in the basement.

Most of what I stockpile are dry goods, so we really don't need the drain on our electricity bill. I'm hoping to see a difference in our bill once it's been unplugged.

Good for you, we did that when the kids left. Takes some getting used to but it will be nice seeing that electric bill going down.

I'm with Darlene, I did it after dd left, and am hoping for a drop in my useage although with the price rise, I'm sure it will only offset a bit.
