With those kind of prices, this is the time to think stockpile. Yes, you will spend more this week, but think how much you save over time when you dont have to pay higher prices for the same item

Great prices, especially the bacon!

Well, I got 6 bacons, 2 chicken breast, crackers, a little apple sauce, smokies, eggs, and apples. My freezers are packed full because of a recent meat sale at this same place. I'm going to try to re-organize them in the next day or so. Then, I'll make another trip.
We ate some of the bacon tonight. It's definately cheap bacon, but we don't mind....can't beat the price!!
I'm not one to buy boneless, skinless breasts, but for this price, I will. I plan to grill some & pound some flat for chicken sandwiches. This is a special treat for us.

I've been doing the same thing; my grocery budget is over, but I'm really stocking up on a lot of great deals. As long as I use up all that I buy, it will be well worth it.

WOW! Jamee those are great sales

I haven't been grocery shopping in about 2 weeks now, but DH will walk up around the corner buy his 12 pack of Bud & buy milk, bread, eggs, cheese, banannas @ the deli...stuff we run out of quie often.
I had to go grocery shopping for a few items today since the
girlz
are out of crunchies
Ma needed bananas, Archway oatmeal cookies, Ludens cherry cough drops, DH wanted me to buy onion rings, onions & peppers to go w/the sausages I got on Manager's special many weeks ago but froze them.
That was tonight's dinner
King Kullen had on sale Crisco oil gal. for $4.99 limit 1
I saw the Sabretts hot dogs on Manager special got 2 packs for $1.99
Butterball Extra Thin Sliced Turkey Breast Oven Roasted in a Ziploc container for $1.99 Manager Special & it's got a .75 coupon attached...now if I only had my other coupon from the last pkg. I bought. I got 4 containers.
DH 12 pack of Budweiser $10.99 this is expensive since I can buy an 18 pack @ Rite-Aid for the same price.
I spent enough on groceries for this mini trip for dinner. Around $50 & if I spent $75 or more I would of gotten a voucher for a FREE turkey. Only problem is I had $75.79 in my checking account until I go put in DH paycheck's tomorrow! Then I'll go back & do my regular shopping!
The problem w/stockpiling for me is space after I buy it all, bring the packages in put away the perishables & frozen stuff! The rest of it sits on the floor in my cluttered enough already kitchen. Until I find space for it or use it up.
Have you ever run out of pasta sauce? This is sooo not me! I always bought tons of this while it's on sale especially Classico I re-use these mason jars. I love pasta DH is pick w/this.
While chatting w/Josh on the phone I told him this & he started to laugh saying what are you talking about you have never done this before. In about 3 years I've known him. He made a joke saying "I guess it was one of those missed packages UPS forgot to deliver"
(he's my UPS guy friend)
I haven't told Patty or Kristel this yet either...she'll be shocked! me run outta food
Everytime Kristel is here she's like you got such great things to eat. Fridge is packed full of goodies & the freezer too! Sometimes I'll go shopping & have to make room in the fridge to put it all in!
We had ravioli the other day & I was down to 2 jars of pasa sauce. One was Emeril's Vodka Sauce which I'm
the jar lid somehow got popped so I've got to exchange it!
The other was Prego marinara sauce. DH would ask me the next day "Do we have more sauce?" since the ravioli soaked up most of it in the fridge.
I forgot all about the vacuum packs I had in the fridge I never used w/one of the dinner kits.
