Where Do You Stash The Money You Save?

I am trying to learn as much as I can about saving money and would appreciate knowing how and where you save. I save in the equity I am building in my home, by contributing quarters of time worked into social security, in my 401k, my change jar and by stockpiling food and goods. I also save hotel points, airline points, credit card points and cigarette points (dh smokes).

Where do you save and any tips you might have to make it less painless will be appreciated.

I do online points programs and surveys-- those monies get put directly into savings.

I pack my lunches, healthier and frugal too!

I read the posts on these boards and try to stay motivated to spending less. The less I spend, the more I can save and can pay off debt faster. I am finding that I am much more aware of energy costs than ever before and am cutting back on grocery spending.
