Please Be Kind To Yourself
Times are bad and getting worse for many of us so it is extremely important to take a few minutes daily to be good to ourselves. I might take a relaxing bubble bath( using my dishwashing liquid for suds)and listen to soothing music while I soak. I might even decide to light a scented candle . This is a very inexpensive way to relax and pamper myself but will pay off tremendously by lessening my stress level and giving me the strenth to get up and go another day
I'll spend time today visiting the frugality forums delighting in the frienships I'm developing online and thanking God for the technology that enables me to draw help and inspiration from people who I've never even met face to face.
This afternoon I plan on taking time for tea and homemade pastries served attractively on fine china.
Tonight before I go to bed I will give myself a facial, manicure and pedicure. I will also take time to pray, reflect on how I can do things better and show gratitude for what I do have. The whole world might be beating up on me but I can still be kind to myself.

Every night at bedtime I put my earplugs in and read. I make myself a cup of herbal tea and enjoy time to myself.

Don't forget journal writing.
After reading homesteadmama's epic journey, it made me think that I should be writing down how I am doing, where I'm at and what am I aiming for. It also helps with planning and dreaming.
That writing somehow puts things into perspective and helps get out the emotions and does help me feel more in control.
