Default Tell us a frugal story.

Reading the AOL "cheapest person" link, got me to thinking...

My sister was telling me a story about my neice and in passing mentioned that my neice (24 and married) was at her house washing sheets. I asked my sister why as the house my neice is living in has laundry. My sister has well water and thus by doing laundry at her mother's she wouldn't be increasing her water bill. And then my neice brought home all the wet sheets to dry at the house she is living in.

I keep a bucket in the kitchen and during the day when I wash vegetables I pour the water in the bucket. In the summer I use that to water the garden. In the winter I use it to flush the toilet.
