I missed Homesteadmamma post!

On Rags to Riches, I thought I read it when I first found this wonderful place and now I'm back and receive the blessing of Homesteadmamma post. I feel so stupid;-(
I've just started reading, taking my time and I'm left with:

inspiration
admiration
love
faith
hope
family
journey together
thankful
Just some of the feelings I've been over come by.

Oh my gosh, I must not of been ready to receive such a blessing. I have just started and look forward to continuing reading and learning. Learning the importance of life, our family our goals.

I wanted to share that for some reason I don't know why I missed this wonderful oppertunity to learn and grow. I hope others don't miss the impotance of our blessed posters thread.

Thank you CJ, even today a new person was given the gift of your journey.

Happymommy, I missed it too! I registered when CJ was in the middle of her difficulties but I don't remember seeing the thread then. Then our computor stared acting up big time and till it finally broke. It was a while before I got online again. I still didn't see it until it was pointed out to me.
I don't have alot of time to spend on the village and so I always just hit new posts.....

I agree it was an inspiring story. I have gone back and carefully reread it 3 times. It has given me ideas and hope.

I must say that I am new and just found the Rags to Riches thread too. I am truly blessed to have been able to read it. There were times that I too teared up and had to go away from the computer for a while. Even though it happened a year ago.

In the last couple of months I have begun to simplify my life and by that I mean only doing the things that I truly feel blesses God when I do them. I have been part of lots of clubs and groups and VERY busy but at the end of the day too much of it was just for me.

I don't run to the mall and shop with friends or spend lots of time in church social groups anymore. I am spending more time "giving my time" to charities that help those in need. I daily ask for people to show up that I can bless.

I have never really thought about having a stockpile but decided to work on that. DH and I are setting short term and long term financial goals and hope to be completely debt free including the mortgage in 8 years which is when my youngest will go to college.

Through reading your posts I was truly inspired and know that we too can meet our goals. God is already blessing us and I am sure that it was by His plan that I found this forum.
