Default What's the mileage/age of your car?

My car hit 100,000 miles yesterday. We bought it free and clear in 1997. I hope it lasts and lasts!!!

DH's car is a 2001 that we bought free and clear - just a month before we knew I'd stop working. Not sure what it's mileage is, but not high maybe 30,000.

DH has a 4 mile commute each way. My job had a 2 mile commute each way. Visiting my mother a few times a month is my biggest drive - around 160 miles each time.

I have a 96 Grand Prix, with about 126,000 miles on it. I don't put many miles on it, being at home most of the time, but son uses it sometimes to drive to school ( 130 miles round trip)

My son drives a 97 prizm ( chevrolet) I'm pretty sure it has about 160,000 miles on it. Keeping my fingers crossed it last till he graduates in a couple year, otherwise, Momma will have to give up her ride. lol ( we just put a $1000.00 in repairs on it)

An old 86 ford ranger.. new motor, no idea how many miles, probably under 10,000. Just use it to haul stuff.. don't really trust it to drive due to bad tires and other minor problems.

All paid for.. hoping I can get by with these vehicles for another five years . Hoping........ lol

We have a 1998 Lincoln Towncar that has 37,400+ miles on it. We bought that car with 10,244. miles on it in March of 04, it looks almost brand new. We also have a 2002 Avalanche with about 40,000 miles on it. It was bought in Dec. of last year with 32,000 on it. It looks brand new and has all the bells and whistles that the top of line ones have. We own both free and clear.

My van is a 2002 and has just over 40k. Not bad considering all the trips from AL to NY & back again. Or the trips from AL to New Orleans & Biloxi for youngest ds's heart surgery & cardiologist appts.

Dh's truck a 1993 (I think? Maybe 1994..) and has well over 100,000. He commutes 140+ miles per day But only until the summer.

He also has a 1994 Firebird that never gets driven. It has maybe 30k.

We have a '88 Jeep with 250,000 miles on the odometer. I'm not sure if that's orginal miles or not. We've had it for quite a while, but it wasn't purchased new.
Dh has a '97 Nissan truck, I'm not sure of the milage. We also have an older Suburban, it has relatively low milage, too expensive to drive, lol.
