Did you know you have....
3 half full bottes of shampoo in your closet?? Well, I do! I have been concentrating so much on my food pantry that I forget to look in my linen/bathroom closet for items. I went and bought a new bottle of shampoo to refill the dispenser I have in my shower and lo and behold, I was looking in my closet for a battery and found 3 other half full bottles! I also found soap, toothpaste and 2 bottles of bubblebath for my DD when all along I was buying new ones.
On that note, my newest project is to go through this closet (it is quite large and deep) and make a list so I can stop buying what I already have!
Can I be the first one to say "duh!!"

Or consider it a good start to your stockpile.
I can relate. I was reorganizing the area under my sink and found 3 new rolls of aluminum foil. Have no idea how long they've been there. Then in my bathroom I got to nosing around the back of my cabinet, it's pretty high up. I found 3 things of deodorant, and all this time I just bought a new one when the old one was almost out. And then I got to reorganizing my laundry room (which I've converted the shelves into a pantry) and goodness! there was a package of 12 unopened bars of Ivory soap. So all of these things got organized where I can see them better and I'm just considering this part of my stockpile. It's like you get a really good start... for free.
Bring on them baby steps...
Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
Step 5: grown child
Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
Step 7: ahhhh....

I found 4 bars of soap and a tube of new toothpaste the other night stashed way back in my closet.
