    Question Tutor Me Please

In your area, which is less expensive

    Cable

    Dish

    Or

    Satellite TV?

Does it depend upon the number of televisions to be cost efficient?

Having non would be the most frugal.

We only have 2 tv stations so I can't help you. Hopefully someone knows.

I wish I had NONE.. but I have a dh who insists on cable TV (basic)= $50/mo. Which when put together with DL internet=$40 it comes to $96/mo.
Add that to the phone bill ffom the same company ($45/mo = $136/mo. It's a monolopy!
I have priced the satelites and found that satelite might be cheaper if we stuck to one or two TVs. That wouldn't go over well with teens. SO, with the number of TVs on our house, cable is the cheapest of all three. But none would be better.

Cable here is about $45.00 a month. We did have satellite and it was about $40.00 ( a little cheaper, but during bad weather it would always go out) Honestly I would like to take both of our TVs out of my house (but that wouldn't go over well with hubby) I find them just to be a big distraction, and I really don't watch a lot of tv. Maybe a 1/2 hour a day.

Here I found that satelight was cheaper. I have not had any trouble with it when we have had bad weater matter of fact last big storm we had I had tv all day while my sil and brother lost cable for most of the day. and they had said that i made the wrong choice to switch that I would lose signal all the time ect but so far I have had no probles while they raised the cable rates again and they are having problems at least 2 to 3 times a week. If I were you I would see what each company offeres as specials and then look at them side by side to make the desision and also figure out how many channels you want and if there are any that you really want and go from there.

I'd have to say Cable is the cheapest route here! Our bill is $28, that is not counting the internet. I am spoiled to cable internet, our bill with that included is $47.89!!

I get 13 cable channels for $9.19 per month, we downgraded a few years ago when my son got to watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon channel to much. I do miss DIscovery channel and animal planet. The next step into basic cable is over $50, satelite is $30. Wish I could find DSL for less than $29.95.
