Talking How much did you spend on groceries in January?

Finally....I seem to have gotten my groceries under control. I budgeted $550/mo. and for January I spent $476.60. I'll be sending the extra off to the cc debt I targeted for first payoff along with some other money that was left at the end of the month.

I have an unusually small grocery bill so I can keep costs way down. I believe I spent a grand total of $50.00 this month.

I have a large store that I am in the process of eating down in preperation for a move. And my Dad owns cattle so every year for my birthday, he gives me all the beef I can eat off the cow he and my Mother butcher every year. Plus I am single and live alone with only two cats. I don't know how I'd be able to make ends meet if I had to support more than myself.

I'm still figuring mine out. DH isn't really good about writing things down like I've asked him, and I seem to be missing one shopping trip.

I'm way under budget. Budget $400/spent $250. But the month's not over. I budgeted $50 for the remainder of the month.

Now listen up! This is fantastic for me!!! Last year, in my spendthrift days; I spent $10,750 for the year! That's $800 a month! In one month I cut it significantly!!

Mine is in my signature. I was over my $250.00, but only by a few dollars. I was pretty pleased. I'm hoping to stay under this month.

Mine is in the Siggy too. I may need to add about $30 for H&B stuff DH bought, but we are still under budget, and eating at home Much more! It's getting better.

My budget was $435 and I pretty much stuck right around that number. First time I've actually not gone way over.

I went over. Not sure on the exact amount cause I lost a couple receipts. Man, I have to get organized here. Well, February is another month.
