Unhappy Medical bills are really adding up!

Our month started Jan 20th, we get paid monthly. So far, dd was sick last week with what I thought was croup Dr visit and meds was $29.00. Ds had to go in on Monday for an ear infection $40 on visist + meds. Dd is still not better and if anything worse. Another dr visit today $20. Apparantly they don't think she ever had croup, but that she has RSV. Ugh! That explains why she is still so sick!

On top of all of this, I have an eye appt for other dd on Friday $30 - she failed big time the eye exam at her 5 year appt- could only read the second to TOP line. Possibly glasses on top of this. I also have an allergy appt for younger dd next week. Hoping to get an explanation for the horrible bleeding diaper rash she has constantly.

I guess with 4 kids, it will always be something!

I understand it sometimes never seems it will end what ticks me off is getting a prescription for a month and less then a week into the meds they aren't working or the side effects are to bad and have to get a differnet prescription I just went through that a few weeks ago. and am not going through some new meds but so far they seem to be working hope it stays that way. just lucky dh insurance pays for at least part of it. hopefully things will get better soon.

p.s. oldest ds had the bleeding diaper rash it seemed that he was have a reaction to his own urine, adding some more water to his diet and making sure to get a extra absorbant diaper and changing as soon as possiable and I used lotramin helped also. not sure if this will help or not but thought it couldn't hurt.

Thanks y'all! yes when it rains it pours. Dd doesn't need glasses thank goodness, but my younger ds needs another set of tubes. So $130 spent on that surgery in 2 weeks. But hopefully that will mean no more ear infections. LOL I started the month with a surplus in my medical envelope, but we blew through that in just a couple of days. Oh well! I just want them to get healthy. Thanks everyone for the support!
