Default New $ off policy at Wal-Mart

    http://www.frugalforlife.blogspot.com/

If this is true, it's a good tip to know when you are shopping there.

It's true and not a new policy, but WM certainly does not advertise it. They will only give you one like item free though (at least at the stores here) or at $3 off. If you are buying more than one of an item, the others they will just adjust to the correct price.

I didn't know about this either, but I don't really shop there much.

Here is the direct link to the tip. I had trouble finding it at first:

I've had them do this for me in the past. I bought three tubes of toothpaste and got charged the wrong price. If you point it out to the cashier, they don't give it to you for free, but if you go to customer service, they do, and yes, here, it is only the first one free.
