Default Great news I wanted to share...

Ok about 2 months ago, hubby and I bought a Chrysler Town & Country Mini-Van from a friend of ours, we set it up so that each bi-weekly payment )from hubby) it would take out $100 so $200 a month....

Hubby went to visit with the friend today and they did a barter.

Hubby would do computer networking with them in exchange for the car ($6000), friend said they trusted him more and could count on him, instead of paying a computer company $1000 a pop + supplies, so he basically got a bartering job so to speak, which he agreed to without telling me till he got home, so it's on his hands.

SO....we are now $200 extra per month, leaving us with a monthly leftover of $450 and that's AFTER paying CC's with double payments, mortgage, utilities, phone, cable, etc. I am soooo happy right now, it is so great.

With that extra moola I will be able to more away into savings and be able to stash more into our vacation fund!

I am soooooo excited, I totally cried when he told me. I was just so worried on how we were going to make due with only $250 a month extra as things do come up.

    Thanks ladies!

Now I can save more than $25 every 2 weeks, plus we are selling our second car to a friend and he's paying us $150 a month so that will go towards bills (snowballing).

Well, it's not everyday we get a deal or "barter" like that... I am just glad it happened.

And with us selling our second car (GMC Jimmy) to a friend of the family, we getting an extra $150 a month, maybe more, depends on if they can afford to give more.

It's really exciting to know that we now can TRUELY snowball our debt and have it paid off before 1/2007 (I am hoping to pay it off before 6/06), and with that when next years tax return comes we can focus it more on the house instead of paying CC debt.

Also, now I can put more away for savings as well.
