Default How long does it take ...

    To spend a $100
    To earn a $100
    To save a $100

It can take minutes to spend $100.
Takes few hours, a day or more to earn $100 (after taxes).
But how long does it take to save a $100? For some people a very, very long time.

I calculated it up. After taxes and benefits at work, it takes me 7.25 hours to make $100.

It takes me around 2 months to actually stick $100 in savings. But hopefully once I pay off some debt that I'll be able to save that up faster.

Right now I don't work outside the home and feel like I make pennies an hour on the farm chores but the savings shows up in the money saved in groceries. Hopefully this summer there will be income from the garden, I'll be selling at the local farmers market, that will all be split between savings and paying down the mortgage bit by bit by bit.
