Default You Know What I Miss?

About 5 or 6 years ago, Priceline.com used to let you bid on grocery prices at your local store, then the store would either accept your bid or not and you'd print out your Priceline list and take it with you and only be charged those prices at the store.

    For example:
ShopRite might sell milk for $3.29 at the store. But, I may have offered to pay $2.50 and they may have accepted. I would do the same for other products and then bring the list to the store. At checkout, I'd give them the paper and they would scan the sheet and I'd pay the agreed upon prices for those items and I'd pay regular price for anything else.

I LOVED that! They quit after about a year, though.

Wow I wish! I never heard about that, any reason why they stopped?

I remember that too...It didn't last long, at least where I live. It would be interesting if they would start it again.

I didn't even know how to get on the internet 5 or 6 years ago, lol. So, I missed it all.

I remember that, too. I was sorry to see it go.
