    Sad but so true. And things like this make me proud to take the time to collect the cans along my road frontage for the pennies I make AND to clean my little part of the environment. It also makes me proud to grow my own veggies and make sure there is NO waste on our farm.

    It reminded me of in the book, "Grapes of Wrath" when there were all these people starving to death during the Great Depression and the farmers were throwing food off the cliff to keep prices down.
