    Talking I finally did it...

    I went to three different stores today, after I dropped off my DD at Grandpa's house of course, and started a pricebook. Just by starting a comparison between the three stores, I feel like I am now the one in control of how much I spend on my groceries! I would have saved so much money over the years if I had just known where to go for what!
    I will continue with this book forever now that I have it started. The biggest hurdle was finding the time to start this! I bit the bullet and went to all three major stores including one shopper's club and as I shopped (didn't want to look suspicious by not having a cart with groceries) I took note of the staples and their unit prices.
    I now have two more local stores I want to compare but I will save that for next month!
    I want to thank all of you who have given me the info by me reading past posts! You are all so knowledgable!

    you will continue to rack up the savings even if all you do is find out which is your lowest overall cost store, and make it your base of operations.
