So I have to do a project about a virtue, and guess which one i picked? Frugality! lol, now i wish i hadnt. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you guys thank you for making it a ton easier for me to find info...

ALSO.... if anyone has a couple of minutes, would any of ya's be able to tell me what the word frugality means to you, as a virtue, I can either leave you unnamed or include your name, whichever you wish I appreciate it ladies... 5 weeks till graduation, AHH!! (by the way, these quotes will be included in a collection of quotes that I'll gather from the net and from friends and family. It is only for a class project, it isnt anything thats going to be published anywhere )

Frugality is being a good stewart of all the blessings the Lord has bestowed on you. It is utilizing all you have to the fullest extent in order to allow you to give back and help others

    The frugal motto:

    Use it up
    wear it out
    make do or do without.

Check out books on Ben Franklin. He was a big proponent of Frugality.

My mom used to say "If you don't need it, don't buy it. But if it's chocolate..."

There is a huge difference between being a grown up and an adult. An adult is someone who is 18 years old. A grown up is someone who can understand the difference between wants and needs. Someone who can postpone self-gratification. Who analyzes a situation and decides based on logic - the necessity of the item, the trade offs financially of purchasing an item. And grown up is capable of putting the needs of others first and denying ones self instant gratification. Children have problems delaying gratification and often have the gimmees - wanting something for the sake of wanting.
