Improve Gas Mileage & Save Money
This article has some basic stuff that we all may be familiar with, but it was a nice refresher and I learned some stuff, too.

Thanks for the tips Wendy, every little bit that we can do to save money is a good thing indeed. Those prices are nasty now but are heading into mega nasty territory.

Wendy, does it help if I say that I envy your gas prices? Add a dollar to your price, and you'll have ours.
If prices continue going up, DH and I will have to trade cars again. My tiny Honda Civic gets better gas mileage than his CRV. He's 6'2", so he really hates when he has to drive my car. Thankfully, though, he doesn't complain (much) because he likes to save money, too.

I know I shouldn't complain. The cost of living is much less here in Kentucky than most other places because we're all poor.
Have there been high gas increases there, ewokgirl?

For a while there, prices were hovering just above $2/gallon. Then they started creeping back up. Just a couple of weeks ago, prices were in the $2.35 range, now they're up around $2.50. *sigh*

I havent seen $1.45 prices in more than a year. Our gas today is $2.51/gal. Scary.
