Do any of you make your own wipes?

I have to be honest, I tried making my own wipes a couple of times, and it was a complete failure. They might work for some, but not for me. I don't know if I made them wrong, or did not have the right type of paper towel (I used good thick ones too), but it was just a total flop each time....
I guess it is just a case of choosing your frugal limits, and I was happier to go back to buying them from the store.
I know lots of people rave about them though, so don't take my word for it

I just use flannel or a washcloth for baby wipes. I only use water on them. When I'm done using it I but it in with the cloth diapers and wash them all together.

We did wipes. I first tried the paper towel method - just soggy.
Then I used a sports bottle filled with water, 1 tablespoon of baby wash, 1 tablespoon of baby oil and a few drops of tea tree oil. I'd squirt some onto a wash cloth.
