    Talking Gettin' Frugal

    I finally broke down and bought my DH a bunch of new socks and i hated to throw away his old ones. So i cut the toe and the stretchy ankle part out....cut it in half...and cut off the crunchy part voila...cheapest baby wipes / dust clothes i have ever made

    Who'da thought i could be so cheap

    That is a good idea! My SO goes thru a pair of boot socks in two weeks, he wears steel toes for 11 hours a night. Un-holy socks are a hot commodity around here!

    the crunchy part the bottom of the sock (mens i have found) when they sweat and from washing gets stiff and yucky. Mostly it is from cheap socks that's why i cut it off
