Well I made my budget for the last two months..
Until Dh is officially finished school.
With the remaining loan, bursery and child tax credits and after all the monthly payments are paid (mortgage, utilities etc), I will have exactly $107 per month left for groceries and and "extras"......not alot. This total does not include part-time work, gardening/tutoring. this fluctuates alot but I can count on about $130 per month.Sometimes it is more sometimes less. I am just so busy trying to finish up the school year with the children. With this small amount, I will have to beable to have a small "Easter" celebration, my Dh BD and one childs BD.
Also this doesnot include paying for the last months credit card (We put gas and parking on it) payment, I will presume that Dh will be working soon after May 28, (I have to presume or I will go crazy!) so we can pay the card then.
I will keep you posted on how we manage.

Make easter more of a doing event than a getting event.
Spend the day or day before making decorations - chains in easter colors.
Have the kids paint their hardboiled eggs with food coloring mixed with water that day. Cut out giant egg shapes from white paper and paint those too - you can use either regular paints or the food coloring (which doesn't wash out of clothes). You can weave baskets or placemats or color them.
Make memories of doing stuff instead of buying/getting stuff.

Wow, you've got quite a challenge ahead of you, but I'm sure you can do it. Time to use up the old stuff in the freezer and pantry! LOL Good luck!
