Cool What is your gazingus pin?

A gazingus pin is any item that you can't pass by without buying. And somehow it is easily justified (gee, I don't have one in this color, it's only a few bucks, it'll add to my collection, this one has neat features). And it tends to be the same type of item. Whether it is chocolate, fabric, music CDs, sweaters, clothes of a certain color etc.

This is a term used in Your Money or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin.

Mine used to be magazines, but I'm over that now.
Books will always be a gazingus for me.
Sometimes it's scrapbooking or cardmaking supplies. I just love all the papers out there!

I have a few. Any new Harry Potter book or movie that comes out. Thankfully they don't come out that often. Also I am the same way about Star Wars and Disney Movies.

Default "educational" for the kids ...

I've been buying the kids "educational" stuff. Books galore. Legos. Craft stuff for them to do.

For me, it's books, chocolate, ice cream, whatever craft I'm doing. The "treat" for myself.

Mine use to be anything Pampered Chef. There was a point that I had everything in their catolgue. I've now passed that. I do use a lot of the items daily. Some I have never used.

I went shopping today. Spring was in the air and the sandals were everywhere. I just love them.
