    I love that title too.

Avg family spends $5240 a year on groceries! Before frugaltarian I was spending $10,000+/yr for family of 4. I'd say- I have ALOT of room to save! LOL. And I do! Currently my budget is $3600 +/- and I'm well within the budget.

Amazing what one can do when you plan!

    Great article(s)!!

Vannie! hysterical! Shorty, I went through grocery charges and just about every third day I went to the yuppie store (Whole Foods) and purchased fresh produce and fruit and aahhh.. lots more.

I discovered WF sold seasoned meats, not just seasoned... but free range meats! Wow! delicious chicken breasts at only $7.99 pound!! I didn't have to do a thing to them!

Oohh... they have Sushi too! and meals already completed! I'm going to surprise the family!

All those nuts.. I want them all! And those healthy cookies, cakes, and crackers. Everything in this store MUST be good for you!

It went on and on until I reviewed my finances in Nov. and checked my Microsoft Money program... "where did my money go?" Kind of a shocker.

    Cheryl,

It may have been expensive, but I have to tell you that you have my mouth watering for those things. I went through simliar phase, "If it's imported, it must be good." Maybe it's like a Rites of Spring thing that some of us go through.
